It’s official: after obtaining a temporary direct mobile sports wagering license in early 2025, DraftKings is now preparing to launch its sportsbooks in Missouri.

Starting from December 1, 2025, Missouri will legalize sports betting and become the 39th state to do so. For DraftKings, Missouri will become the 29th state where the sportsbook offers its operations.

DraftKings’ chief revenue officer, Greg Karamitis, said:

“This is an incredible time of year for sports fans with NFL, NBA, NHL, college football, and college basketball all in season, and we look forward to elevating the experience for Missouri sports fans responsibly with our top-rated online sportsbook.”

On this occasion, DraftKings will be hosting a ceremonial first bet event on December 1 at The Palladium in St. Louis. Sports legends such as Tony Gonzalez, Isaac Bruce, and Brett Hull will be taking part in the event, with ceremonial first bets from them. Additionally, Missouri House Speaker Jonathan Patterson will participate and share his remarks.
