DraftKings strikes NHL affiliation
The US-based sportsbook & fantasy sports giant – DraftKings, has secured its latest affiliation with the American National Hockey League (NHL).
The collaboration between the sports team and the operator will see the latter become the league’s official betting supplier.
Additionally, the operator has also secured an alliance with WarnerMedia’s Turner Sports, becoming a special daily fantasy sports & sportsbook supplier for the NHL, which is going to see the sports provider supply sports betting & daily fantasy sports content all throughout the Turner Sports’ telecasts, as well as the Bleacher Report online channels, and their B/R application.
Becoming the formal daily fantasy sports and sportsbook supplier of the National Hockey League, DraftKings will be gaining access to the league’s various assets such as the right of usage of official logos and markques, plus, themed sweepstakes and boosted promotional campaigns all throughout not only the usual NHL season, but also NHL All-Star Weekend, on top of the Stanley Cup playoffs + the final.
DraftKings will also be allowed to integrate various products and contents across NHL’s social media platforms, which will see the operator integrate mainly its betting odds and daily fantasy statistical data, along with original, editorial content, plus, customized to NHL automatized alerts.
This marks yet another successful strategic deal with sports teams with the provider securing a Baltimore Ravens agreement earlier in August this year.
