The renewed licenses, which will run from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2031, went to TOTO Online (TOTO, Winnitt), Holland Casino (Holland Casino Online), Play North Limited (Kansino), FPO Nederland (FairPlay Casino), Bingoal Nederland (Bingoal), Hillside/New Media Malta (bet365), NSUS Malta (GG Poker), and Betent (Betcity). All eight were part of the original group that entered the Dutch market when it launched, and none of the ten original license holders have dropped out this round, though LiveScore and Tombola both left the market back in 2024.
During the latest renewal process, the KSA took a stricter approach, requiring applicants to explain any compliance issues from the past five years and show what they’ve done to prevent them from happening again.
The KSA had commented:
“Providers that made mistakes in the past five years must explain during the application process how they have learned from previous mistakes and how they intend to prevent recurrence.”
Every application also had to include a new exit plan to explain how the operator would restrict its business if its license isn’t renewed or is removed early. Some operators received “additional points for attention,” meaning they cleared the bar but still have room to improve.
