Entain debuts in Africa with Bwin

Entain’s Bwin is going to start operating in Zambia as its first foray into the African market.

With this latest news the operator will be able to provide its sports wagering and online casino services to players in Zambia. It was announced in a hotel in the country’s capital, Lusaka, where the firm committed to develop and promote Zambia’s sports betting industry.

Operating in the country is not the easiest task, as there are three separate gambling regulators, each governing different verticals of the industry. Sports betting licenses, in particular, are regulated by Zambia’s Betting Control and Licensing Board.

The firm has already gone through all the necessary preparations, such as the integration of local payment networks, and is ready to accept players on their Zambian website.

We are excited to have this opportunity to work in Zambia and provide our services to players in the country, as there is a lot of untapped potential in the region. We are certain that our Zambian users will be quite fond of our offerings, as we have a plethora of entertaining experiences for them to try out.

remarked the chief marketing officer of the African division of Bwin, Spencer Okach.
