Entain names Dafne Guisard as the company’s new COO

An international gambling and sports betting company, Entain, has appointed Dafne Guisard as the company’s new and first chief operating officer after the leadership changes in 2022.

Dafne Guisard is an experienced specialist with her previous roles as Chief Strategy, Transformation, and Digital Officer at The Kraft Heinz Company, where she led the company’s 10-year growth plan, developed new operational models, and advanced digital transformation.

In her new position at Entain, Guisard will focus on operational efficiency, strategic global planning, and customer service, together with integrating recent acquisitions.

Entain CEO Gavin Isaacs commented:

“Dafne brings a wealth of experience in driving strategic growth and delivering transformation on a global scale. Her appointment will help place Entain at the leading edge of innovation, as well as strengthen the executive management team as we build on a period of stronger-than-expected revenue growth and key market expansion. Dafne will be a tremendous asset to Entain.”

Dafne holds a degree in computer engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Guisard’s appointment follows the recent addition of Charlotte Emery, former Chief Brand Officer at William Hill, as Entain’s CMO, further rounding out Entain’s refreshed leadership team.
