After 2 years with the gambling company, Charlotte Emery has stepped down from her role as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Entain, with the operator already in search of a replacement.
Emery first joined Entain in June 2024, managing the company’s UK brands, such as Coral, Ladbrokes, Gala, and Foxy Bingo, and leading a 230-member marketing business with a £250 million budget. Alongside her CMO position, she was also part of Entain’s UK Executive Committee, where she contributed to the implementation of AI in the marketing function and led the relaunch of Gala and Ladbrokes.
Managing Director of Entain UK & Ireland, Bejay Patel, commented:
“Charlotte has played a significant role in the continued growth and development of our UK brands: Ladbrokes, Coral, Gala and Foxy. Charlotte led the marketing function with passion and energy over the last two years. We would like to thank her for her contribution and wish her every success in the future.”
According to Entain, Emery departed from her role on mutually agreed terms, with the decision coming as the operator is in the process of conducting a broader efficiency program under acting CEO Stella David. The company previously announced that it would eliminate 500 jobs globally as part of an operating costs review.
