FanDuel teams up with legendary golfer Jordan Spieth
The American gambling company focused on sports betting, casino, and daily fantasy sports – FanDuel, has secured an ambassadorship with iconic golfer – Jordan Spieth.
Through this affiliation, FanDuel – PGA Tour’s most recent sportsbook partner, will become the legendary golfer’s sportsbook and fantasy sports supplier.
Moreover, the golfer will be the company’s face for sports-related products, as well as become FanDuel’s ambassador in TV and Social Media appearances.
Jordan Spieth stated about the ambassadorship:
“I am thrilled to see the regulated sports betting industry expand in the American market, uniting sports fans in a unique way.
I will be happy to cooperate with FanDuel in engaging sports fans and further promoting legalized sports betting in the United States.”
The ambassadorship with Spieth comes as a continuation of yet another similar deal with NBA icon – Charles Barkley, which was signed prior to this.
Mike Raffensperger – CMO at FanDuel, also commented on the news:
“Knowing how popular golf is among our customers in general, I am stoked to see how this grows further, our team is always on the mission to create new ways to engage our sports fans.
So, we decided that a huge legend in golf such as Jordan Spieth could be the perfect candidate for this role, becoming our first ever golfer partner.”
