Flutter reports strong 2024 with $14B

An international sports betting and gambling company, Flutter Entertainment, reported strong financial results for 2024.

Both Q4 and full-year results are impressive for Flutter. The company recorded a revenue increase of 14%, a net income increase of an impressive 117%, and an average monthly player (AMP) number increase of 7%.

In the U.S., the company’s market share reached 36%, driven by record-breaking sportsbook margins and strong growth in iGaming. Flutter also recorded EBITDA growth of 4% in Q4 and 26% for the year. Free cash flow increased by 175% to $473 million, showing the company’s strong financial health.

These numbers helped Flutter to gain a dominant position in the US, where FanDuel became the number one operator for both sports betting and iGaming. Moreover, Flutter also expanded its presence in the U.S. with MaxBet and experienced growth in key international markets like the UK and Italy. Back in January, Flutter Entertainment announced its plan to get Italy’s main lottery license.

Looking ahead to 2025, Flutter is optimistic about continuing the momentum and building on these strong results.
