GamCare appoints D’Arcy Myers as interim CEO

D’Arcy Myers has recently been named the interim CEO of GamCare.

Myers has worked with charitable organizations quite extensively, helping them develop their strategies and implement effective processes for change. Throughout his career, the new appointee has led numerous charities as CEO for more than a dozen years. He is also a founding member of the UK’s Small Charities Coalition, in addition to having previously served as the Association of Charitable Organizations’ Chair.

Margot Daly, the Chair of Trustees at GamCare, remarked:

“We are excited to add D’Arcy to our team. His expansive expertise with various charitable organizations and wealth of knowledge will be invaluable for GamCare.”

The new appointee, D’Arcy Myers, commented:

“I am delighted to be joining the team behind GamCare and to have the opportunity to help with their important contributions to communities across the country. I am eager to meet with as many of our staff, our users, and our partners as possible in the very near future.”

This news follows after the gambling charity’s previous CEO, Anna Hemmings, left her position after half a decade at GamCare in the first half of June. After this, the organization’s Chair, Margot Daly, took over the CEO’s responsibilities, which have now been passed onto the new interim appointee.
