GamCare to hold training program with Rank Group
GamCare plans to train 1400 workers about safe gambling, as they are collaborating with Rank Group.
From May to November GamCare will have training courses that are going to last 150 days to educate workers on the matters of communicating with clients and reasonable gambling.
They are going to offer a “Social Responsibility and Interaction” course to almost a thousand workers from different brands as a 1-day program.
500 Rank Group workers will benefit from this program as they will get the advanced-level program, which will help them to improve their skills and knowledge.
The program is going to offer ‘motivational’ interviewing skills as well, which will improve communication skills when communicating with clients who are more at risk.
“We are happy to be partnering with Rank Group to offer this course to their brands. Being invested in worker’s knowledge and skills about customer interaction will lower the risk of damage caused by gambling.”
said A. Hemmings, GamCare’s chief executive officer.
“We are more than happy that our agreement with GamCare is currently expanding on this scale. It shows our intentions to develop the customer interactions, and to provide clients with a safer experience. Reasonable gambling is crucial for us which requires a lot of investment and knowledge, and the Rank Group’s team is perfect for that.”
stated J. O’Reilly, Rank Group’s chief executive officer.
