Gateway Casinos and Entertainment, Canadian gaming and entertainment operator, appoints Queenie Wong as new Chief Financial Officer.

Over many years, Wong has served in financial roles in the company. During that time, she managed to deal with key M&A transactions. Among them is the acquisition of Playtime Gaming due to which Gateway integrated extra 6 properties to its suite.

Queenie Wong has also participated in the expansion of the company within Ontario, where Gateway currently operates 12 properties.

Before her career in Gateway, she worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers accounting company.

As Gateway operated mainly in land-based casinos, it suffered severely from restrictions and lockdowns. Wong was appointed in her new role within the process of the company’s recovery.

As soon as the lockdown ended, Gateway launched its poker rooms at Cascades Casino Langley and Grand Villa Burnaby again.
