GiG assigns Jonas Warrer as Acting CEO

GiG has recently appointed Jonas Warrer as its Acting CEO.

This announcement follows shortly after the company’s previous Chief Executive, Richard Brown, announced his resignation from his position. Warrer will be taking on the responsibilities of the CEO starting today, simultaneously maintaining his position as the CEO of the company’s Media subsidiary until GiG completes its proposed business split. Additionally, the outgoing CEO will continue working with the company as an advisor till the end of the year.

Warrer first joined the gambling firm over half a decade ago back in 2017 through GiG’s purchase of Rebel Penguin, where he was the Founder and MD. Since then, the new appointee has contributed sizably to the development of GiG’s Media division, being promoted to the latter’s MD in 2019.

“We are excited to name Jonas as our latest Acting CEO as our company undergoes the process of splitting its operations into two distinct divisions to enhance our expansion momentum and deliver an improved value for our investors. Having been part of GiG’s management team for close to half a decade and having extensive experience in the gambling sector, we are confident in his abilities to lead GiG throughout this period.”

remarked GiG’s Executive Chairman, Petter Nylander.
