GIG Media adds Casinomesiter to its portfolio

GIG Media part of Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG), a prominent player in digital marketing and affiliate in the online gaming industry, has announced the strategic purchase of Casinomeister, a well-known online casino advocacy and review platform.

For the past 25 years, Casinomeister has been a key player in advocating for transparency and fairness in gaming. Following the successful integration of AskGamblers and KaFe Rocks, this acquisition underscores GiG Media’s dedication to enhancing transparency and improving player services in the gambling sector. For €45 million, GiG already purchased AskGamblers, the primary brand of Catena Media, along with a number of lesser domains. In addition, GiG paid €37.5 million to acquire the portfolio of affiliate brands owned by KaFe Rocks, which included Time2Play.com and USCasino.com.

GiG is going to pay €3 million for the assets. June marks the time the sale is expected to close. GiG believes the purchase will have an instant beneficial financial impact. As GiG fully incorporates Casinomeister into its business, more advantages should follow.

GiG anticipates that the company will grow significantly by utilizing the synergies between GiG Media and Casinomeister, much like what happened with AskGamblers following its acquisition.

GiG CEO Jonas Warrer said:

“Casinomeister’s renowned dedication to fair play and community support perfectly aligns with our recent acquisition of Askgamblers.com. Together, these platforms will enhance our market reach and optimise the complaint resolution services we provide to the community, reinforcing our position at the forefront of player advocacy.”

Casinomeister will maintain its operations under its well-respected brand within the GiG Media portfolio, preserving its distinct voice. The company anticipates substantial growth by capitalizing on the synergies between GiG Media and Casinomeister, mirroring the success achieved with AskGamblers post-acquisition. Casinomeister holds a position of authority in the industry, and its inclusion in the GiG Media portfolio of high-quality websites will further diversify the company’s offerings.

Casinomeister founder Bryan Baily stated:

“I have dedicated 26 years to building this business, and now it’s time to pass the reins to a new, dynamic team who can lead it into the future. This business has been my passion, starting as a hobby website in 1998 and growing into what it is today. I am entrusting this to the most capable team in the industry to continue its mission of advocating for fair play.

I have a long history with GiG Media, and I am confident that they will maintain the values and principles that Casinomeister stands for, ensuring a smooth transition and a bright future for the online gaming community.”
