Premium slot and table games supplier – Habanero, has furthered its presence in the regulated African iGaming market via a deal with Betway in Ghana.

The new agreement between Habanero and Betway Africa is going to make Habanero’s gaming content selection available for Betway Ghana’s customers, featuring the provider’s most well-known games such as Egyptian Dreams, Wild Trucks, and more.

Habanero’s Europe-focused head of BD – Arcangelo Lonoce, commented:

“This partnership is a key strategic step in our advancement in the regulated African iGaming market, which we consider a very promising and prosperous one for Habanero’s growth.

We are excited to go live in Ghana, bringing our titles to this new audience!”

Betway is currently certified in various regulated jurisdictions in the continent, including in countries like Uganda, South Africa, and Kenya.

This is a landscape moment for Habanero in its global and local expansion journey, as Ghana is the second country, after Nigeria, in Western Africa when it comes to gambling revenue and the number of players.

Betway Ghana’s head of marketing – Kwabena Oppong-Nkrumah, also highlighted the importance of the deal in terms of reassuring their position in the fast-growing African regulated iGaming market, where Betway already is a well-established, leading brand.
