Hacksaw Gaming has announced the appointment of Ana Vrabic Verdir as permanent Group Chief Executive Officer after serving in the position since April 2026, following the departure of former CEO Christoffer Källberg.
The appointment comes after the board of directors conducted both an internal and external search for a suitable candidate, with Verdir taking up the role effective immediately. Additionally, she has been serving on the company’s board since 2024.
Chairman of the board, Patrick Svensk, commented:
“Ana has been close to Hacksaw for several years, and, as a Board member and Interim Group CEO, she has a strong understanding of both the business and the company’s development. Since April, she has led the Group with clear direction, and the Board is unanimous that she is the right person to build on that work.”
Ana Vrabic Verdir shared:
“Hacksaw operates in a large and growing global market, and after these past months, my view is that we have only begun to see what the platform can carry. I look forward to continuing to deliver on our business strategy together with the team, and I thank the Board for its continued confidence.”
The latest appointment is expected to stabilize and expand Hacksaw’s position in the B2B iGaming sector, while Verdir is set to remain as a member of the board until the next annual general meeting.
