Hard Rock Bristol opens its doors in Virginia
A global leader in entertainment, gaming, and hospitality with its hotels, cafes, casinos, and shops, Hard Rock International opened its doors in Virginia on November 14, 2024, marking a significant move for both the town of Bristol and Virginia’s gaming industry.
Located near the Virginia-Tennessee border, Hard Rock Bristol casino becomes the second permanent casino in Virginia. The resort now expands to 620,000 square feet and has more than 1,000 employees. Music plays a central role at Hard Rock Bristol, as seen in its live venue that can hold 2,000 fans. The grand opening celebration took place on November 14, featuring country superstar Blake Shelton, fittingly honoring Bristol’s legacy as the birthplace of country music.
The resort’s amenities include a 303-room hotel, a diverse lineup of restaurants, and a vibrant casino floor with 1,500 slot machines, live dealer games, and a sportsbook. Guests are surrounded by memorabilia from icons like Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan, adding a unique touch to the experience. Virginia’s gaming landscape is expanding rapidly, with new casinos in development across the state, positioning Virginia as a dynamic player in the commercial gaming industry.
