Hollywood Casino in 200 Georgesville Rd, Columbus, is going to be the first casino property in the state of Ohio to introduce no-cash gambling via a new app.

The Hollywood Casino in Columbus, Ohio announced the introduction to a cashless method of gambling, which already exists in Pennsylvania via Penn National Gaming, thanks to which, customers at Hollywood Casino Columbus will no longer need to carry credit cards or any form of cash with them in order to participate in wagering.

This will be made possible via utilizing the mychoice rewards app. This feature, created by Penn National Gaming and launched in Pennsylvania last month, will allow players to set up and connect a virtual wallet to tables and slot machines. The app will also let the users add funds and collect their wins.

Hollywood Casino is officially the first land-based casino in Ohio to implement this type of technology.

Penn National Gaming is said to be planning to launch similar features in Dayton, Youngstown, and Toledo by the beginning of November this year, further implementing cashless wagering practices, which are so important especially in the face of a global pandemic.
