iGaming Germany 2023 comes to a close
The latest successful installment of iGaming Germany has recently concluded.
The first day of the conference started off with an excellent atmosphere as numerous iGaming experts, regulatory representatives, and other esteemed professionals gathered in Munich to discuss and learn about the gambling market of Germany.
After a short introductory session hosted by Taylor Wessing’s Jan Feuerhake, who is also the event’s Chairman, and Deutscher Sportwettenverband’s Mathias Dahms, the conference’s first discussion was held. The panel covered the past five months of the German online gambling market, along with its future, and featured top speakers like Melchers Law Firm’s Dr. Joerg Hofman and LeadLink’s Johannes Brecher.
The conference featured several other discussions and speeches on the first day, which covered many insightful topics like the balance between compliance and delivering top user experiences, how to stand out from the competition in tightly regulated jurisdictions, and many others. The event also gave attendees lots of opportunities to talk to and connect with other industry experts through its dedicated breaks.
Continuing the excellent atmosphere of the first day, the following one started with a morning presentation hosted by Arendts Anwalte’s Martin Arendts, who shared his insights on the licensing procedures of Germany’s gambling market. This was then followed by the second day’s first discussion, which covered how industry firms can take advantage of the opportunities offered by the country.
The day continued providing top-notch learning and networking opportunities to its attendees and covered many additional topics about the German gambling market and its possibilities, among other related ones, like the future of the neighboring Scandinavian gambling sector. The day was then concluded with closing remarks from the event’s Chair, Jan Feuerhake.
