IGT extends lottery contract with Svenska Spel
Svenska Spel will continue utilizing IGT’s lottery solutions for the upcoming few years.
This latest extension will see the Swedish operator continue making use of IGT’s leading online lottery solutions, including the developer’s lottery platform, IGTPay cashless payment solution, and over 4 thousand of its retail lottery machines. This contract will be valid for the forthcoming few years till January of 2027.
Svenska Spel’s Business Manager for the Casino Cosmopol and Vegas, Ola Enquist, stated:
“We are delighted to continue our successful collaboration with IGT, as their offerings have played an important role in our company’s growth momentum. Our partner provides us with the most optimal technology and content solutions for us to expand our business at pace and responsibly drive our engagement rates with innovative gambling experiences.”
The SVP of Gaming in EMEA regions at IGT, Mark MacCombie, remarked:
“Together with Svenska Spel, we have developed an effective strategy for satisfying the lottery needs of our partner’s player base, and we are eager to continue working with them for the next few years. Our partner’s dedication to delivering excellent experiences for its players with new groundbreaking approaches makes a perfect match with our leading position in terms of innovation.”
This contract extension follows closely after IGT signed a long-term agreement with the Connecticut Lottery to deliver its lottery solutions to the North American operator, signifying a healthy period of growth for the developer and its online lottery solutions.
