KSA appoints two new Chairpeople

Monique Van Oers and Adriane Koppe have been appointed as the Kansspelautoriteit’s latest Chairpeople.

The two new chairpersons will be taking over the responsibilities of J.M.E Feije on the Dutch gambling regulator’s objection advisory committee, expanding the Kansspelautoriteit’s administrative team. This new change will go into effect shortly, as the outgoing Chairperson’s term on the committee will expire this month.

The Kansspelautoriteit stated that it made the decision to appoint two chairpersons instead of one to enhance its operations to keep up with the growing number of enforcement actions the regulator has to impose as the Dutch gambling market continues to expand at pace.

The Kansspelautoriteit’s Chairman, Rene Jansen, commented:

“We are delighted that we have been able to find two excellent and highly-skilled successors to J.M.E Feije, and we would like to thank her for the invaluable work she has done for the KSA. Through this appointment, we will be able to enhance our objection efforts to keep up with the increasing amount of penalties we have to issue.”

About two months ago at the end of March, the gambling regulator made several similar additions to its team, chief amongst which was the appointment of Anita Vegter as Chair of the Kansspelautoriteit’s advisory board.
