LeoVegas gains approval to operate in Ontario

LeoVegas Group gained approval by the AGCO to provide its gambling services within Ontario.

LeoVegas is obliged to ink a contract with iGaming Ontario which is a branch of the Commission controlling the market.

As soon as the acquisition procedure is accomplished, LeoVegas will deliver its casino and wagering services.

As stated by the Group, the license is an essential milestone towards the expansion plans.

The head of the company, Gustaf Hagman, noted:

“Throughout the past years, LeoVegas has taken the 3rd position among the most popular casino brands within Canada. Our Royal Panda brand has seen a huge advancement, due to our mobile gambling services which experienced high levels of engagement by the players of America”.

The market is scheduled to open on 4 April.

Recently, 888 and Rush Street Interactive also gained licenses to perform within Ontario.
