Lightning Box to be acquired by Scientific Games
The acquisition that has been made public by Scientific Games, was described by Lightning Box as a key strategic step in the studio’s development and expansion journey.
As mentioned by Scientific Games, the two already had an established professional relationship prior to the deal, which will see the acquisition have a smooth process of integrating.
Within the frames of the agreement, Lightning Box’s titles will be incorporated through the American OpenGaming platform, as the studio continues to provide new games, utilizing Scientific Games’ commercial aid and features.
Presently, the Lightning Box studio, based in Sydney, has an offering which consist of dynamic and well-known titles such as Lightning Horseman, Chicken Fox, Astro cat, and more.
Being acquired by Scientific Games comes shortly after a number of other strategic steps made by Lightning Box, following deals with partners such as Lightning Box’ LatAm partnership with Betsson, as well as other partnerships including Golden Nugget, UniBet, William Hill, FanDuel, and many more.
