LSports records 90% growth for in-play coverage in 2020
LSports has revealed a 90% growth in in-play coverage during 2020. This growth has aided the company in alleviating the negative effects brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic during the past year. During the first couple of months in the year, the provider stated that its esports feed was what really pushed the company to grow. This feed encompasses over 15 titles.
Dotan Lazar, co-founder and CEO of LSports, stated:
“The lack of events to bet on did have a short and long-term effect on the industry. We were overwhelmed by it the same as everyone else, but we quickly realised that there’s much more we can offer to our customers. During the past 12 months, the company has greatly enhanced its coverage, ensuring that the bookmakers had and will continue to have sufficient alternatives to the popular sports. We’re constantly adding new sports, events, leagues, and markets to our coverage. LSports had always prided itself on being at the forefront of technology and thanks to our data and our new STM product, I believe that we are.”
However, aside from esports, LSports also provides unique bets to its portfolio which encloses topics including weather, lottery, politics, bowling and more. These new options were all included for bettors since sports were halted for the most part of the year.
LSports also decided to add some other new sports into its portfolio since there was a particular rise in popularity, including sports such as chess, table tennis, sumo, hurling, alpine sports and others… Thanks to this addition, the provider now goes over approximately 60 sports, with 125,000 pre-match events every month, and 65,000 in-play events spanning across over 2,000 markets.
