Meadows Casino to be renamed Hollywood Casino
The Meadows Casino –harness-racing track and slot-machine casino in North Strabane, Pennsylvania, is going to be renamed Hollywood Casino, starting October 15th.
The formally known as Meadows Casino & Racetrack in 210 Racetrack Rd, Washington, PA is set to formally change its name to Hollywood Casino, starting October 15th, and bringing other changes along the way.
According to the VP of marketing – Rahul Kaushik, the changing of the name to Hollywood casino is more than just that for Penn National, which took over the property in 2019:
“This is not just a name-change, this is a crucial moment in the re-branding journey which started 2 years ago.”
Along with the name change, the establishment will be coming forward with a number of other changes which also represent its dedication to being re-branded as a Penn National flagship property. The changes include an addition of a sportsbook, an H lounge, as well as some upgrading works regarding the slot machines and the floors.
Moreover, the local food court is going to transition into The Eatery by Fabio Viviani, introducing a complex of 4 different restaurants with not only local, but Italian and Chinese cuisine: The Classic, Mercato, Zen Noodle, and Joe & Dough.
To start off the celebrations of the focal point of the casino’s rebranding, on October 15th there will be a Pink Out and Family Fun Night from 4-7p.m., which plans to have live local entertainment, food trucks, as well as hourly prize drawing, culminating in fireworks afterwards.
