MGA suspends Condor’s Malta license

On September 28, 2026, the Malta Gaming Authority revealed that it had suspended Condor Malta Limited’s gaming license from September 16, although the operator’s UK license remains active for now.

MGA suspends Condor’s Malta license

The MGA suspended the license under section 8(1)(f) of its Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations, citing four grounds under regulation 9, including failures to meet regulatory obligations and financial commitments connected to the business. The regulator hasn’t disclosed what those financial commitments were, how much money is involved, or the specific conduct behind the case; however, Condor can’t run gaming operations under its Maltese license anymore, which previously covered Type 1 casino games and Type 2 fixed-odds betting.

On the other hand, the MGA has ordered the company to keep customer accounts accessible so players can still view their information. The suspended license connects Condor to a broad supplier network through Malta, including Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Relax Gaming, Play’n GO, and Hub88.

The MGA shared:

“The Malta Gaming Authority has suspended the authorisation awarded to Condor Malta Limited. The Authorised Person is thus no longer authorised to carry out any gaming operations, but is required to retain and provide access to all registered players to their player accounts for visibility purposes.”

Condor has the right to appeal the MGA’s decision under Malta’s Gaming Act, but it’s not known whether the company has done so.
