MGM Resorts and BetMGM initiate responsible wagering promotion
MGM Resorts and BetMGM declare joint promotion on responsible wagering again, in support of Problem Gambling Awareness Month.
These two brands started a cooperation with British Columbia Lottery Corporation in 2017. As a result of the cooperation, the companies are permitted to include GameSense into their gambling suite, which delivers extra information about responsible wagering to its clients, as well as allows setting wagering limits and gives extra aid if there is a need.
BetMGM was established within the framework of MGM Resorts’ collaboration with Entain. MGM Resorts and BetMGM had made promotions to responsible wagering when they teamed up with AGA’s ‘Have a Game Plan – Bet Responsibly’ initiative.
The chief executive of MGM Resorts, Bill Hornbuckle, noted:
“We have been collaborating with GameSense for 5 years, and our goal is to provide new and edge-cutting products which are created to increase the awareness on responsible gambling and boost healthy gaming”.
These two brands have linked up with the National Council on Problem Gaming for reiteration of their responsible wagering commitment, which coincides with PGAM, held annually in March.
What’s more, MGM resorts set up QR codes in its venues to make it easy to access to information on responsible wagering and the educational resources provided by GameSense.
BetMGM is going to add GameSense system into its betting platforms due to which it encourages live responsible wagering.
The head of BetMGM, Adam GreenBlatt, commented:
“The gaming industry grows quickly as more and more markets make sports betting legal. We give much importance to educating our clients, and we have taken measures to deliver information for users to gamble responsibly”.
