Mike Raffensperger departs from FanDuel position

The president of the sports division of FanDuel, Mike Raffensperger, has announced that he will step down from the position by the end of March 2026.

His exit will mark the end of an eight-year-long journey during which Raffensperger managed the expansion of the company into a billion-dollar enterprise, as he mentioned personal reasons for the decision.

He has held the role of president of the sports division since March 2024 and governed its revenue, marketing, collaborations, and media operations, as his responsibilities included the main sports betting business, daily fantasy sports, and the FanDuel TV network.

Between July 2022 and March 2024, he served as chief commercial officer, but his career began back in 2018 as chief marketing officer.

During Raffensperger’s time at FanDuel, the company recorded strong financial growth in sports betting, and in 2024, the company generated $5.79 billion in revenue, which was a 19% increase compared to 2023.

In 2022, he also led the rebranding of the TVG horse racing channel into FanDuel TV, which was restructured into a media hub with daily studio programming such as Up & Adams.

Raffensperger hasn’t yet disclosed his professional plans for the future.
