New records set at SBC Summit North America 2023
SBC Summit North America‘s recently concluded installment attracted a record number of attendees.
From the 9th to the 11th of May, over 3 thousand industry professionals participated in the SBC Summit North America conference in New Jersey, setting a new record for the event. It hosted three days of insightful discussions led by more than 300 of the industry’s top executives and regulatory experts.
Many topics, such as affiliate marketing, technologies in the iGaming industry, and sports wagering, had their own dedicated conference tracks, expanding the event’s appeal to a wide range of professionals. The discussions held as part of these tracks featured highly esteemed industry experts such as Frank Abagnale, Barry Gibson, Matt King, and Bill Miller.
The conference featured an exhibition hall with 60 stands, where companies were given the opportunity to showcase their offerings and attract new clients. It also provided its attendees with plenty of networking breaks and other themed opportunities, such as the Global Gaming Women and African Americans in Gaming meetups.
On the 10th, Sports Betting Hall of Fame was held as part of the conference, which honored some of the most impactful people in the sector. The list of inductees included top professionals like Caesars’ Trish Lewandowski and the NJDGE’s David Rebuck.
The SBC First Pitch competition gave five startups the opportunity to showcase their innovative ideas at the event to attract potential partners and win the competition’s top prize of 55 thousand dollars. The winner of the prize was Scrimmage, a player retention tool that makes hefty use of gamification.
The conference continued awarding top companies with the SBC Awards ceremony, which brought together over 600 attendees and honored firms like Better Collective, BetMGM, and Sportradar for their efforts and offerings.
