The National Football League (NFL) has announced that it has signed three new agreements with sports betting operators, including DraftKings, FanDuel, and Fanatics Betting and Gaming.
In the case of DraftKings and FanDuel, the operators have held partnership deals with the NFL since 2021 and have now extended the collaborations through new multi-year agreements, while Fanatics has also been named as an online casino marketing partner.
Under the commercial agreements, the three sportsbooks will be able to use the NFL’s branded marks to promote their online and retail sports betting products and will additionally display their own branding during NFL tentpole events, including the NFL Draft and Super Bowl.
NFL EVP and Chief Revenue Officer Renie Anderson commented:
“We are thrilled to have three world-class partners in the sports betting category. DraftKings, FanDuel and Fanatics share our vision for innovation and fan engagement, but most importantly, our commitment to protecting the integrity of the game. We look forward to navigating this next chapter in sports betting together.”
The operators will also take advantage of VIP and hospitality experiences and further integrations on NFL-owned digital media channels.
Chief Marketing Officer at DraftKings, Stephanie Sherman, added:
“Nothing compares to football season for DraftKings and our millions of customers. Working with the NFL allows us to put the DraftKings brand alongside the biggest games of the season, from Kickoff through the Super Bowl.”
President of FanDuel, Christian Genetski, said:
“For the last five years, the NFL has been an important partner in helping build a legal and regulated sports betting industry that puts fans and the integrity of the game at the center. We’re proud of what we’ve built together and look forward to continuing to find new ways for fans to engage with the games they love.”
Fanatics’ CEO Matt King commented on the collaboration as well, noting that the partnership will bring Fanatics Sportsbook and Fanatics Casino closer to NFL fans.
