Parimatch has announced the extension of its existing partnership with Virtus.pro, the Russian esports firm.

The sports betting operator’s renewed agreement will mean that it will be supporting the organisation’s CS:GO and Dota 2 agendas, as well as keeping Parimatch’s logo on the jerseys.

The initial partnership was signed back in August of 2018, and it has been going strong for three years. Now, Parimatch will keep on using Virtus.pro’s rosters as motivation for the agreement. Therefore, this partnership will most likely be including multiple different collaborations throughout 2021.

Virtus.pro CEO Sergey Glamazda mentioned in a statement:

“This year marks three years of our cooperation with Parimatch, and we are glad that all this time we have been walking hand in hand with such a reliable partner. We have already implemented many joint projects, and there will be even more in the future. We appreciate Parimatch supports the club’s development and is confident that together we can achieve our goals.”

The renewal of this agreement between Virtus.pro and Parimatch is not the first agreement signed since the start of this year. Towards the start of this month, Virtus.pro also announced the renewal of its agreement with HyperX. Parimatch also owns and operates its exclusive affiliate programme, Parimatch Partners.

Parimatch Head of Esports, Stepan Shulga, said:

“Virtus.pro is a unique team for us. We have been together from the very beginning when the esports concept was a wonder for the betting industry. Since that time, the teams have entirely renewed: imagine, we signed contracts when there were other rosters. It is both valuable and exciting that, having survived a complete reincarnation, VP is again on the first lines of the world rankings in Dota 2 and CS: GO. So go, go, VP!”
