Playtech will be supplying more of its offerings to the Swedish government-owned Svenska Spel.

Through this latest announcement, the two companies will be extending their multi-year collaboration to include Playtech’s iPoker offerings. The two firms first started working together around four years ago, when Svenska Spel integrated the developer’s live dealer and iGaming products.

The Interactive Games VP of Playtech, Marat Koss, commented:

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity to expand our longstanding collaboration with Svenska Spel and to grow our presence in the Swedish iGaming market. This partnership is an excellent mark of the quality of our poker offerings, as top gambling firms, like Svenska Spel, are choosing them over the products of our competitors.”

Svenska Spel’s Head of Bingo and Poker, Fredrik Hard, stated:

“Our latest addition of Playtech’s poker offerings is an excellent step forward for us. We are thrilled to be a part of our partner’s iPoker network, as we continually strive to enhance the experiences of our players and offer them new top-notch gambling offers. We are looking forward to a productive collaboration.”

About a month ago, Svenska Spel published its latest financial performance analysis, which showed that its revenue stayed steady in the first quarter of 2023. Read more about the report here.
