The Australian sports betting, fantasy sports, and racing operator – PlayUp, has formally been approved by The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to operate in the state.

The ambitious Australian multi-product operator for racing, betting and fantasy – PlayUp, is going to start its operations in New Jersey, which is one of the US’ most promising markets for both sports betting and fantasy sports, after gaining regulatory approval from The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

In the beginning of this year, the operator had already secured a market-entrance deal with a local racing company – FR Park Racing, but only now has gained formal regulatory approval to start its operations in the state.

After that, PlayUp also secured a partnership with the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, further asserting its presence in New Jersey.

PlayUp’s US-based Chief Executive Officer – Laila Mintas, stated about the achievement by saying:

“This is a serious landmark moment for PlayUp.”

The CEO went on to mention their ambitious plans for the state, considering it one of the most profitable ones in the US, not only in terms of revenue, but also as a highly proven and regulated market for fantasy and sports betting.

The group also hinted about an “exclusive product”, which is soon to launch in the state.
