Real Madrid will reportedly be dedicating a part of the stadium to a casino area during the remodelling of the Bernabéu stadium, which is expected to bring in approximately €120 million worth of revenue.

This refurbishing of the club stadium will take place in 2023 for an estimated price of €575 million, as stated by Florentino Pérez, the president of Real Madrid club. The casino will be helping the club gain back some of the money spent on the remodelling.

Florentino Pérez said:

“For many more unforgettable moments at home, we present you the Santiago Bernabéu of the future.”

Aside from this new casino, there will also be many other parts of the stadium dedicated to concepts that will bring in some additional revenue for the club such as a brand new museum, a first class restaurant, some shops and even an event and tour area in the venue.

Moreover, 360-degree screens and a video scoreboard will all be added in the stadium in order to offer new and fresh content to fans of the club and greatly enhance the overall experience of the stadium when live matches take place.

Back in mid-2019, Pérez conducted a presentation during which he revealed the massive refurbishing of the La Liga club’s home, which he stated would be giving the popular venue a more modern look.

Just last week, the country’s government declared that Real Madrid’s UEFA quarter-final against Liverpool will be taking place at the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium, which seats 6,000 spectators, since the Bernabéu is being renovated.
