RMG to appoint Scott Smith as a Director
Scott Smith will soon be joining Racecourse Media Group’s board as a Director.
This latest appointment will expand the company’s board, with the new appointee set to join it as a non-executive director. Smith will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to the racecourse and media firm, with some of his previous experiences being at major sports organizations in high-level financial management positions.
The new appointee commented:
“I am excited to have this opportunity to join RMG at a time when its efforts are so significant for its racing venue shareholders. I am eager to work closely with the team behind RMG to help the company and its stakeholders expand rapidly in the ever-evolving industry.”
RMG’s future Chair, Conor Grant, remarked:
“We are excited to welcome Scott to RMG’s board. His vast experience in a wide variety of sectors, including in sports, will play a significant role in the future growth of our firm and help us deliver enhanced value to our thoroughbred racing venue stakeholders.”
Smith will be taking on his new responsibilities at RMG starting next month, at the same time as Conor Grant, who will be replacing the firm’s outgoing Chair, Roger Lewis.
