During SBC Summit North America 2023 past NFL player Amani Toomer will be featured as a speaker on the event’s Safe Bet Show discussion.

Set to take place in New Jersey in the first half of May, the forthcoming SBC Summit North America conference will be a prominent event for professionals interested in the rapidly expanding US and Canadian gambling market. It will feature numerous networking and learning opportunities through a unique track system, delivering a productive experience to its attendees.

Each track will include several discussion and speech panels focusing on one broad topic. One of the first ones to go live on the 9th of May is going to be the special Player Protection Symposium track, which is going to be focusing on responsible and safe gambling.

The special track’s last discussion panel is going to be the Safe Bet Show, which has been covering the importance of responsible gambling in the industry and its effects on gambling regulations all around the world since its introduction to the conference back in 2021.

Moderated by Martin Lycka, the SVP of Entain’s Responsible Gambling and Regulatory Affairs in the American region, this year’s installment of the discussion will star former NFL player Amani Toomer, who played with the New York Giants till 2008. The panel will see the two participants discuss numerous responsible gambling-related topics, such as social responsibility, player protection, and countering gambling problems.

Martin Lycka stated:

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to chat with Amani as part of the Safe Bet Show. His efforts and dedication to spreading the word about safe gambling are quite inspirational and prove that those outside of the gambling industry can have a positive impact in this regard as well.”

Amani Toomer commented:

“Taking part in a conference that highlights the importance of responsible gambling is quite exciting for me. Spreading the word about the negative effects of problem gambling, especially in younger players, is quite important, and I aim to maximize my positive impact in the industry.”
