SBC to host new major industry event in Amsterdam for 2027
The international event organizer SBC has announced plans for a large-scale B2B event in the Dutch capital, scheduled for spring 2027.
According to the CEO and founder of SBC, Rasmus Sojmark, the plans for the Amsterdam event came together back in October 2024, when Sojmark and event director Paul Mills held talks with stakeholders during a Las Vegas meeting.
Sojmark wrote:
“You all know that delivering a genuinely great event is in our DNA at SBC. We excel at quality-led events with the best-in-class combination of exhibition, conference, and high-level business opportunities. We have some really exciting plans in place for this event, with promises to take everything a step further in 2027.”
Amsterdam was chosen as a location that is attractive thanks to its international reach and popularity among professionals from the gambling industry, as stakeholders and partners kept requesting a strong event in the city, with a focus on quality business and networking. Fairs, conferences, and business meetings are expected to be held during the event.
Previously, SBC has organized various international events and conferences in the sports betting industry, as Sojmark also highlighted the strategic choice of relocating the last flagship event from Barcelona to Lisbon in 2024, which was later coined as “The Greatest Show in Gaming.”
