The latest installment of the SiGMA Asia conference has proved to be quite successful.

The popular event’s latest installment hosted more than 12 thousand of the sector’s top professionals in Manila, providing them with leading opportunities. One of the conference’s most prominent objectives was to bring the Western iGaming industry closer to its counterpart in the East, helping participants make new connections and expand in the region.

The conference started with an opening ceremony with SiGMA’s Eman Pulis and PAGCOR’s Alejandro H. Tengco, who shared their invaluable insights about the local gambling industry and talked about the operator’s future plans.

Later on during the first day of the conference, the event spotlighted the industry’s best companies, professionals, and innovations with the SiGMA Asia Awards, which honored 26 firms for their standout offerings and achievements. The ceremony also recognized Tengco for his contributions to the global gambling industry through PAGCOR.

The inaugural conference also gave the organizer’s philanthropic division, the SiGMA Foundation, an opportunity to expand its reach. The Foundation’s Chair, Keith Marshall, shared his insights on the morning of the second day and talked about the organization’s impact and future goals.

The conference also featured an exhibition floor and SiGMA’s highly coveted Pitch startup competition, the latter of which gave six emerging firms the opportunity to showcase their offerings and win a special prize.

SiGMA will be taking the popular series of events to the Balkans next with the SiGMA Balkans and CIS Summit in Limassol, where attendees will be able to enjoy a similarly high-quality conference experience and learn about the Balkan gambling market in September.
