SiGMA Asia Summit 2025 Welcomes 13K Delegates in Manila

SiGMA Asia Summit 2025 welcomed 13,000+ delegates in Manila for four days of gaming, tech, philanthropy, and networking at one of Asia’s top industry summits.

SiGMA Asia 2025, held from June 1-4 at SMX Convention Centre in Manila, Philippines, supported regional economic potential, future-facing innovation, and responsible growth. Attendees benefited from an extensive programme blending high-level talks, startup showcases, cultural immersion, charity work, and exclusive networking experiences.

The summit opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by H.E. Mr. John Busuttil, SiGMA Group CEO Emily Micallef, and SiGMA Asia Director Neil Shih. Their remarks spotlighted Malta’s regulatory leadership and deepening partnerships across Asia.

On Day 1, the SiGMA Stage focused on regulation, compliance, ethical growth, and affiliate marketing, with closing insights from sureWin’s William Anderson. Day 2 shifted to UX innovation, gamification, AI, and iGaming workforce strategies, including the fan-favorite Affiliate-Operator Quiz Asia.

Running in parallel, the AIBC Stage led a tech-first agenda. Highlights included panels on AI, blockchain, digital payments, tokenisation, and the role of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in monetisation ecosystems.

Both stages also hosted Startup Pitch competitions. After a round of live presentations evaluated by an expert panel of investors and C-level industry stakeholders, SavageTech became the winner on the SiGMA Stage, impressing judges with its scalable infrastructure and tech-forward proposition. Meanwhile, on the AIBC Stage, the AIBC Startup Pitch spotlighted some of the most promising early-stage companies in frontier tech, with Analytiks Inc. securing the win for its data-driven approach to behavioural analytics and operational efficiency.

A major moment of the summit was the launch of the Batiawan Community Centre in Bataan,  a partnership with local leaders and the indigenous Aeta community, providing training, education, and sustainable tools for rural upliftment.

Delegates also joined an emotional awareness walk through Manila’s Smokey Mountain, gaining a deeper understanding of local socioeconomic challenges. These efforts reflect the SiGMA Foundation’s mission to embed philanthropy into the industry’s DNA.

Following the summit, select affiliates attended a private retreat in Boracay (5-7 June), turning business connections into long-term partnerships in a relaxed setting. This extension of the summit enabled deeper collaborations in an informal beachfront setting. Delegates engaged in curated experiences, strategy breakouts, and wellness sessions that allowed for reflection and forward planning, setting a unique precedent for future editions.

Back in Manila, the SiGMA Asia Awards 2025 celebrated excellence across the gaming industry.
