SiGMA North America 2026 brings the industry to Mexico City

Mexico City will host the first edition of SiGMA North America from September 1 to 3, 2026, as the event makes its debut at Centro Banamex. Bringing together professionals from across North and Latin America, the summit is expected to welcome 4,000 delegates, including 1,000 operators, more than 150 speakers, and over 200 exhibitors and sponsors.

Over three days, visitors will have access to conference sessions, an exhibition floor, startup showcases, industry awards, networking events, and post-summit affiliate activities. The event aims to create opportunities for operators, affiliates, suppliers, investors, and technology companies to connect in one place.

Why Mexico City?

Following the success of BiS SiGMA South America in Brazil, SiGMA is expanding its presence in the Americas with a second regional event. While the Brazil summit focuses mainly on South America, the Mexico City edition will place greater attention on North America and Spanish-speaking markets.

The two events are held about five months apart, giving companies another opportunity during the year to meet partners, explore new markets, and strengthen business relationships across the region.

Mexico also offers an attractive location for international businesses. Positioned between Latin America, the United States, and Canada, the country serves as a natural meeting point for companies operating across the Americas.

The local market continues to show strong growth as well. According to Horizon Databook, Mexico’s online gambling market is projected to reach $3.61 billion by 2033. The online casino sector alone is expected to grow from $441.5 million in 2024 to $943.7 million by 2030. At the same time, data from DGJS, cited by SiGMA News, shows that the country is home to more than 350 licensed land-based casinos and over 30 licensed online operators using the .mxdomain.

A business-focused exhibition

The exhibition floor at Centro Banamex will serve as one of the main meeting points during the summit.

During two days, attendees will be able to meet operators, suppliers, affiliates, and technology providers while exploring the latest products and services on display. More than 200 exhibitors and sponsors are expected to take part.

Visitors will also have access to a VIP Lounge for private meetings and networking, along with a food court offering a range of dining options throughout the event.

Conference agenda focuses on the industry’s biggest topics

The conference program at SiGMA North America 2026 will cover many of the main topics of the iGaming industry in North and Latin America. Rather than providing broad market updates, the sessions will focus on practical challenges such as market entry, regulation, artificial intelligence, affiliate marketing, fraud prevention, and KYC.

Day 1 highlights

The first day opens with “The Role of Global Operators in Mexico’s iGaming Market.” The session will feature Victor Arias, Vice President at ARRISE, Cristhian Gomez Villa, Managing Director of Emerging Markets at Betsson, and Germán Sarmiento, Country Manager at Betcris.

The panel will look at how international operators enter the Mexican market, adapt their products for local players, manage compliance requirements, and use technology and acquisition strategies to grow their presence.

Another session on Day 1, “Regulatory Escape Room: North America Decoded: A Survival Guide to U.S. & Canadian iGaming Markets,” will focus on expansion into the United States and Canada. Aimed at LATAM operators, the discussion will explore the regulatory challenges, legal requirements, and compliance standards companies must understand before entering these markets. The list of speakers will be announced closer to the event.

Artificial intelligence will also be part of the agenda with “Predictive Play: The Future of AI Personalization.” Mauricio Soto, Head of Expansion for LATAM at Optimove, and Javier Troncoso, Co-Founder and CEO of InsightPlay.ai, will discuss how operators are using AI for real-time personalization, player recommendations, and engagement while balancing regulatory requirements.

Day 2 highlights

Affiliate marketing moves into focus on the second day with the keynote “Affiliate Marketing in 2027: AI, Data & Personalisation.” Fernanda Figueroa, Head of Affiliates and Tier 3 Strategy at 1win Partners, will share insights into predictive modeling, audience segmentation, and automated campaign optimization. The session also connects with the affiliate-focused networking activities that continue after the summit in Cancun.

Another discussion will examine one of Mexico’s biggest operational challenges in “The Identity Battle in Mexico: Growth, Fraud and KYC in a Market of 8 Million Players.” The panel will cover topics including player onboarding, fraud prevention, AML compliance, identity verification, and the growing use of deepfakes. Speaker details will be confirmed closer to the event, with updates available on the official agenda page.

Awards, networking, and startup opportunities

Networking begins before the main conference gets underway with the SiGMA North America Awards on September 1. The ceremony celebrates companies and individuals making an impact across the iGaming industry, bringing together finalists, sponsors, executives, and other industry professionals. As one of the opening events of the summit, it also gives attendees an early opportunity to build new connections.

Networking continues throughout the event at Centro Banamex from September 1 to 3. Alongside business meetings and conference sessions, delegates can join a range of social events designed to encourage conversations in a more relaxed setting.

Platinum ticket holders will have access to networking drinks in the VIP Lounge, while all attendees can take part in the SiGMA Official Party, giving operators, affiliates, suppliers, and partners more opportunities to meet outside the exhibition floor.

Visitors with Platinum tickets will also be invited to an exclusive experience in Mexico City on September 1. Full details have not yet been announced, but these activities have become a regular part of SiGMA events. Previous editions have included a cruise on Manila Bay, a safari in Cape Town, and a diving experience in Dubai.

The summit will also present new businesses through SiGMA Pitch North America, taking place on September 3. Six startups will present their ideas live to investors, venture capital firms, and industry leaders. For early-stage companies, the competition offers valuable exposure, feedback from industry experts, and the chance to secure investment or new business partnerships.

The September schedule continues in Cancun

The networking opportunities do not end when the summit closes. From September 4 to 6, SiGMA Group will host its Affiliate Retreat in Cancun, bringing together 50 leading affiliates for an exclusive post-event experience.

The retreat begins with a private flight from Mexico City to Cancun and includes a two-night stay at a luxury resort. Guests will also enjoy Michelin-star dining, beachfront welcome drinks, a catamaran trip to Isla Mujeres, swimming in a cenote, ziplining, ATV rides, and an evening event.

While the retreat offers plenty of leisure activities, its main purpose is to help affiliates strengthen business relationships in a more relaxed setting. After several days of meetings and conference sessions in Mexico City, participants will have more time to continue discussions, build partnerships, and connect with other industry professionals.

The timing also fits well with the industry’s September calendar. Once the retreat ends, Affiliate World Americas will take place in Cancun from September 7 to 8. This gives companies attending both events the opportunity to spend more than a week networking across two of the region’s major affiliate gatherings.

Secure your place at SiGMA North America 2026

With its first edition in Mexico City, SiGMA North America 2026 is set to become an important addition to the group’s global event calendar. The summit will bring together leading companies, affiliates, operators, suppliers, and technology providers, while offering a conference program focused on topics shaping the iGaming industry in the Americas.

Tickets are now available for delegates who want to attend the exhibition, conference sessions, networking events, and exclusive experiences taking place throughout the summit. More speakers, panel discussions, and event activities will be announced in the coming months, but preparations are already underway as Mexico City gets ready to welcome the industry this September.
