Founded in 2017, Stake is an Australian- Curaçaoa online casino. It is a global company with offices in Australia, Serbia, and Cyprus. In August, Stake secured its license in Peru and also officially entered the Italian market with its acquisition of Baldo Line.
After Brazil’s announcement that the country will no longer allow illegal operations in the country, many operators applied for licenses. Almost 89 operators applied for a license, and Stake is on the list of the first companies.
Earlier this year, in May, the Ministry set a deadline for all unlicensed online casinos to apply for a license by the end of 2024 and has recently closed its initial application window for casino licenses, with 113 businesses applying.

As the launch of the regulated market on January 1 comes closer, Stake can continue its operations with its São Paulo office. The company will also hire a dedicated country manager and team members in Brazil.
