Superbet becomes a new member of the EGBA

An online gambling and sports betting company, Superbet, has joined the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA).

Superbet expressed that joining the EGBA is a testament to its dedication to responsible practices within the industry and its goal of setting higher standards.

Albert Simsensohn, chief operating officer of Superbet Group, commented:

“This is an important chapter in our journey, as becoming members of EGBA demonstrates our commitment to nurture a sustainable growth for our company, while adhering to the highest standards of compliance across all our markets.”

As a member, Superbet plans to actively support EGBA’s initiatives, which focus on responsible advertising, safer gambling, and the rollout of the new EU anti-money laundering regulations.

Maarten Haijer, secretary general of EGBA, said:

“We’re delighted to welcome Superbet Group to EGBA, further strengthening our industry representation. Superbet’s expertise and market focus will be invaluable to call upon as EGBA continues its drive to set high industry standards and promote a safe and competitive online gambling environment in Europe. We look forward to working with our new colleagues.”

This membership comes at a crucial time, as the upcoming European Commission is set to introduce new legislation that will affect digital sectors across the EU, including online gambling.
