The Star Entertainment Casino to be investigated again

Queensland casinos, which belong to The Star Entertainment, will undergo an investigation by an independent review.

During next week, Australia’s Cabinet will make the decision about who is going to lead the investigation.

“An independent expert review is needed, but we yet have to finalize the terms. We will accept the results of the Bell investigation in New South Wales as they deal with the same company. We have to put it in the Queensland context of continuing relevance there. Even if it turns out that the casino is not convenient, there are things we can do temporarily to ensure that the star meets the criteria of the regulator.”

stated S. Fentiman.

Allegations against the company occurred because of fraud, money laundering and many other crimes.

Earlier this year many of the C-level executives resigned from their roles as a result of the current situation.

Other casinos that belong to The Star are the following:

  • Gold Coast resort
  • Treasury Brisbane resort
  • Queens Wharf

Most definitely The Star will be found guilty and will pay a huge amount of fine, as lately the Australia’s Government raised the amount of average fine to 50 million Australian dollars.

Not so long ago, VGCCC made the decision that the brand needs to pay 80 million Australian dollars for being involved in the Union Pay scandal in China.
