The online casino and sports betting provider – TwinSpires, is to expand in the state of Arizona via an agreement with the Payson-Native Tonto Apache Tribe.

Owned and run by the Native American Tonto Apache Tribe, Arizona’s Mazatzal Hotel & Casino will be opening a TwinSpires retail sportsbook, according to the deal between the two sides.

TwinSpires’ CEO – Ian Williams, stated:

“We are super thrilled to be partnering up with the Arizona Native Tonto Apache Tribe, in opening our land-based sportsbook at the Mazatzal Hotel & Casino, as we enter the state of Arizona.”

TwinSpires has a long history in the US gambling industry, starting from 1996, and presently having properties in a total of 6 states within the USA.

The Tribe’s chairperson – Calvin Johnson, also added to the shared comments about the market entrance partnership:

“In cooperation with our legendary new partner, the Tonto Apache Tribe is excitedly looking forward to not only enhancing our presence in the entertainment industry via our Mazatzal Hotel & Casino, but also boosting tourism to our gorgeous county.”

The agreement comes as a strategic continuation of previous US state market reaffirming efforts by TwinSpires, after a casino mobile app launch in Indiana, and a mobile sportsbook in Colordo and Pennsylvania.
