Wynn Resorts named its president for the UAE project
Max Tappeiner has been appointed the president of Wynn Al Marjan Island.
Wynn Al Marjan Island is the UAE project of the Wynn Resorts. Founded in 2002, Wynn Resorts develops and operates high-end hotels and casinos. Based in Paradise, Nevada, Wyn Resorts is currently working on its UAE project which is still under construction.
For the president role, Wynn Resorts appointed a professional who proved his dedication to the company. Max Tappeiner has served as executive vice president of operations and senior vice present operations at Wynn Las Vegas since January 2023.
Mr Tappeiner expressed his excitement:
“I’m beyond grateful and humbled to join the Wynn Al Marjan Island team. Thank you to Craig Billings for this amazing opportunity. I’m looking forward to this exciting journey as we expand to a new territory as the first gaming operator in the UAE.”
Earlier this month, Wynn Resorts, together with an update on its Q2 results shared some updates on its UAE project, mentioning that it has rapid progress.
Wynn confirmed that Tappeiner would officially assume his new role starting September 1, marking the beginning of a new era for Wynn Resorts as it brings its signature brand of luxury and entertainment to the Middle East. The anticipation surrounding Wynn Al Marjan Island is palpable, with many industry insiders and potential guests eagerly awaiting the resort’s grand opening.
