Zitro has officially acquired a licence for the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires. The certification was granted by the Lotería de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, or LOTBA, and will allow the iGaming supplier to operate in the city.

Through this licence, Zitro’s portfolio will be accessible to all players in the city at all online casinos that are able to operate in the city through their own licences. This is yet another advancement for the supplier it its International expansion strategy, and it currently has many licences in key markets including Malta and France.

LatAm commercial director at Zitro, Alejandra Burato, stated:

“The online gambling market of the City of Buenos Aires is one of the online gambling markets with the greatest potential not only in Argentina but also in Latin America. That is why we are very excited about the prospect of having our games present in each and every one of the online casinos that receive their license to operate in the capital of Argentina.”

Furthermore, Zitro is now the most recent company to obtain a licence in the Buenos Aires market, which is home to about 17 million people. Earlier in March, Play’n Go also acquired a licence in the area.
