AGA appoints Michael Rumbolz as Chair

The AGA has recently named Michael Rumbolz as its latest Chair.

The new appointee will be succeeding the AGA’s outgoing Chair, Jim Allen, who has been working with the association since early 2022. Rumbolz has an expansive career in the gambling sector of the United States, having started in the industry in the 1980s working with the gambling regulator of Nevada. He currently holds the position of the Chair and CEO of Everi, where his tenure is approaching 8 years.

The new appointee commented:

“I am excited to have this opportunity to join the AGA as the organization’s latest chair. The AGA is working toward a variety of important issues in the growing gambling sector, and I am looking forward to building upon the foundation built by Jim throughout his tenure as the Association’s Chair.”

AGA’s Chief Executive and President, Bill Miller, remarked:

“We are honored to have Mike join us as the latest Chair of the AGA. His standout career in the gambling sector at a wide variety of companies and organizations will be instrumental for us, helping the AGA continue progressing in its strategic initiatives.”

Rumbolz will be taking on his new responsibilities at the Association starting in January of next year, with his tenure at the AGA scheduled to last for approximately two years.

Additionally, this announcement follows just two days after the Association named Joe Maloney as its latest SVP of Communications, with his tenure beginning in early 2024 as well.
