AGCO introduces Dave Forestell as new Board Chair

Dave Forestell is going to be the latest Chair of AGCO’s Board.

The new appointee originally joined the Canadian regulatory authority’s Board of Directors around half a decade ago in 2018. Throughout his tenure at the organization, Forestell has played a sizable role in the development of AGCO’s initiatives and programs that helped the authority enhance its regulatory efforts of the industries under its supervision.

Apart from his experience at AGCO, the new appointee has a wealth of expertise in similar managerial positions at major Canadian corporations and organizations. At the time of writing, he is working as the VP of External Relations at TC Energy’s Canadian subsidiary and a Board Member of OCAD University in Toronto.

Furthermore, the new appointee was also serving as the Chairman of iGaming Ontario, AGCO’s subsidiary, since its founding a couple of years ago, however, he will be leaving this role to focus his efforts on leading the Board of the regulatory authority.

This announcement follows the recent resignation of AGCO’s previous Chair, Lalit Aggrawal, who has led the organization’s Board since 2019 and helped the regulatory authority enhance its efforts to support the continued growth of its industries, even throughout the challenging times of the pandemic.
