BCLC receives Level 4 certification from WLA
The BCLC has recently been granted a Level 4 certification by the World Lottery Association.
The BCLC has been granted the certification for providing high-quality health programming for its users, which has enabled the firm to achieve its leading position in the industry in terms of responsible gambling. The company mentioned in its announcement that this is the fifth time it has received the Level 4 certification, which only a dozen other lottery firms have been able to achieve across the North American continent.
BCLC’s VP of Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer, Marie-Noelle Savoie, remarked:
“Receiving the Level 4 certification for the fifth time in a row, along with the distinction of a “Best Practice”, serves as a testament to our dedication to our user health initiatives. Our innovative drive has played a significant role in this achievement and will continue helping us enhance our efforts in the future.”
Through the certification, the WLA highlighted the quality of the BCLC’s user education initiative, mentioning that it delivers better-than-average results in terms of informing players and incorporates innovative practices and policies.
