bet365 announced that it has stopped accepting credit card payments on United States gambling platforms effective April 13, 2026.

Deposits made before the announced date will still be available for players to use, but new bets can no longer be placed with credit card funds, as the operator offers Apple Pay or debit cards as payment methods. However, if Apple Pay is connected to a credit card, then deposits will not be permitted either. bet365 also accepts PayPal deposits and cash deposits at limited retail locations.

The news of the ban was provided on the operator’s Help Center site, where it was explained that bet365 doesn’t accept credit cards as a deposit method anymore.

As mentioned, the change applies only to the U.S. market, with Canadian users still able to deposit money with credit cards.

bet365 has joined other major operations in the decision to ban credit card payments and move away from the credit-based gambling transactions system, following the examples of DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM. DraftKings was the first operator to prohibit credit cards, with FanDuel taking the same step in February 2026 and BetMGM enforcing the ban on March 31, 2026.
