bet365 to exit China and focus on regulated markets

Starting March 27, the UK-based gaming company bet365 is reportedly exiting China to shift its focus to regulated markets.

bet365 will no longer accept bets from new users; however, existing users will still be able to access their accounts and withdraw funds until April 30. If players miss this deadline, they can contact the company to arrange a withdrawal.

A bet365 spokesperson commented:

“The group has decided to align its focus to its core competencies in its core markets by consolidating its resources to center on gaining market share in regions that provide long-term sustainable revenue.”

For bet365 customers in China, this transition means finding alternative betting platforms, while the company continues to strengthen its presence in fully regulated markets.

bet365 is focused on US operations

Despite ongoing tough decisions in different locations, the sportsbook is focused on its US operations. Earlier, bet365 celebrated its Tennessee and Illinois expansion, welcoming everyone aged 21 and above to its online sports betting platform. Currently, after the new expansion, bet365 is available in 13 US states.
